Deflation Is Good

“It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature.” Someone ought to tell this to Ben Bernanke, chieftain of the so-called “Federal” Reserve. Ever since the crash of 2008, Mother Nature has wanted prices to deflate. But the haughty Bernanke thinks he knows better; he has been printing an avalanche of paper dollars to defeat the wisdom of Mother Nature.

In December 2008 the official unemployment rate was 7.2 percent. Unemployment had not been that high for almost 16 years, as documented in the February 7, 2013 Ersjdamoo’s Blog entry.

Four years and one month later, after the papier mache efforts of Ben Bernanke, the official unemployment rate is 7.9 percent. Ben Bernanke, physician of the nation’s economy, has failed. Bernanke has violated the number one rule: “First, do no harm.”

Of course, some will say, “If not for Bernanke, things would have been so much worse.” But that is impossible to prove. I say, “If not for Bernanke, the ‘Great Recession’ would long since have ended.”

The economy – a natural force – wanted prices to deflate. If this had been allowed to happen, it would have jolted people for awhile, yes. But once the natural force of the economy had found its own comfortable price level, the “Great Recession” would have begun to end. Ben Bernanke, by defying the wisdom of Mother Nature, has prolonged our agony.

Incobrasa Industries of Gilman, Illinois has announced the premiere of a 30 kW demo generator for the Fall of 2013. What is amazing about this is that the respected employer claims the “generator is driven by a mechanical system that is fed exclusively from the earth’s gravity.”

“This mechanical system was conceptualized and created to capture and use the energy contained in the earth’s gravity. This system will work anywhere, anytime without pollution or heat.” (http://imgur.com/BGitd)

What would this mean for the current electrical power companies? If people could place a generator powered by gravity in their homes, they would curtail or even eliminate their dependence on the power companies. This would mean for the power companies the dreaded deflation! A special meeting would be called. In attendance would be Ben Bernanke. “Ben, there is a deflation threat. Incobrasa Industries has developed a prototype generator powered by gravity.”

But what could Bernanke and his printing presses do about it!? Prices for the power companies’ stock crashes (deflates). Bernanke uses the new generators powered by gravity to vastly increase the printing press capacities. Paper dollars begin raining down from the sky. Would that be enough? Would it stop the dreaded deflation?
