Dave Lindorff, an investigative reporter with almost 40 years’s experience, wondered about the “Craft International Services private security personnel who were widely observed and photographed near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, wearing security ear-pieces, hats and T-shirts bearing the company’s skull logo, and all wearing the same dark coats, khaki pants and combat boots, some carrying what appear to have been radiation detectors.” (“Craft International Services hired guns at the Boston Marathon: Why Such Secrecy about Private Military Contractor’s Men Working”)
I also wondered about Craft International. Who are they, and why were their personnel apparently present coincident to the Boston Marathon bombings of April 15, 2013?
Craft International was apparently present at the Boston marathon, unless unknown persons had purchased their distinctive caps. At their web site, “Craft Gear”, including the scary hats, are offered for sale to the general public.
I had no idea what exactly “Craft International” is, so I glanced through their web site, http://www.thecraft.com/. They seem to be some rough-and-tough dudes, the kind who eat steak and eggs for breakfast.
A video at one of the sidebars for the Craft web site includes that it is “Registered with the Defense Security Service HUMINT and SIGINT infrastructure… SDVOSB Classification.” SIGINT means “Signals Intelligence” so at least some of these guys must be brainy. Uh-oh… They might hack into Ersjdamoo’s Blog if I’m not careful!
The logo for this group of brainy steak-and-egg chompers seems to include their special motto: “Despite what your momma told you, violence does solve problems.” Uh-oh… Ersjdamoo had better be very careful!
Well so what if they enjoy steak-and-eggs and believe violence can solve problems? Hey, they are entitled to their opinions, just as anyone else!
And as to why they seemed to have such a conspicuous presence at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, well maybe they were just enjoying the event. Then why the walkie-talkies? Maybe Craft International is like a big happy family and they wanted to share their enjoyment of watching the Boston Marathon with their brother Craftsmen. (The Craft Skull logo has a crosshair “in the form of a templar cross”, according to their web site. “Templar” means “Knights Templar” so they are indeed “brother Craftsmen.”)
So peace be unto you, Craft International. Please don’t beat me up or hack Ersjdamoo’s Blog.
