Our Friend, The Ether (Part 22)

A TORSION FIELD appeared on my CD?

Amidst all the hubbub, remember that The Ether itself has stated, “The ‘scientists’ are the ones who are in ‘relative motion.’ As for me, I can sit and wait.” [1]

Albert Einstein himself admitted, in 1951, “This word ether has changed its meaning many times in the development of science.” For Plato and Aristotle, The Ether was a “supermundane” fifth element, the quinta essentia. For the stoic philosophers, The Ether was the pneuma, an ancient Greek word for breath and connected with the soul. Isaac Newton thought of The Ether as an important part of the mechanical philosophy. Sir Oliver Lodge went so far as to think The Ether to be the medium involved in telepathy and ESP. Furthermore, Albert Einstein was not consistent throughout his life as to his opinion of The Ether: At first, Einstein accepted it. Later, the Nobel Prize-winning physicist abandoned The Ether during the years 1905-1916. But then, between 1916 and 1924, Einstein introduced a concept of the “new ether.” [2]

The meaning of “the ether” had been constantly changing for the scientists. The scientists were indeed, as The Ether has stated, in “relative motion.”

And now, amidst all the churning of scientists, comes yet another meaning for The Ether: A “hyperdimensional model” of the universe posits The Ether as the actual transformation medium between the higher spatial realities and our (3-D) dimension – through something called the “torsion field.” (Background: Our Friend, The Ether (Part 21), Ersjdamoo’s Blog entry of November 18, 2013.)

And what is the “torsion field”? The torsion field is a “spin field.” [3]

A negative view of this “torsion field” idea seems to be held by the mainstream scientists. They call it “pseudoscience”. (But that just means “non-approved” science.) [4] Benjamin Franklin “was the subject of laughter at the English Academy of Science when he reported his discovery of the lightning rod. They refused to print his report.” [5] Thus, at least one of Ben Franklin’s ideas was also once “pseudoscience.”

The idea of torsion, a “fifth force”, is said to have been fathered by Russian professor N.P. Myshkin in the 1800s. “Einstein’s colleague Dr. Eli Cartan first termed this force ‘torsion’ in 1913 in reference to its twisting movement through the fabric of space-time.” Russian scientists are reported to be very keen upon the torsion subject [6], but their American counterparts prefer to rest in their easy chairs and call it “pseudoscience.”

From a layman’s perspective, the “spin field” and/or “torsion field” suggests a vortex. German scientist O.C. Hilgenberg worked out a vortex aether theory. It purportedly explained gravity and also atomic structure. “[A] basic theory has been worked out connecting vorticular structures in the aether, not only with elementary particles and vacuum flux [zero point energy], but that flux is now connected to structures of standing waves in the medium [aether] itself, structures which give rise to ‘nodes and loops’ in the medium, making it resemble a crystal lattice.” [7]

But this might be getting too “scientific” (i.e., incomprehensible) for many people. So let us bring in someone reliable, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, to better explain things. “Torsion” perhaps boils down to this: Fohat digs holes in space.

“Then Svabhavat sends Fohat to harden the atoms. The Dgyu becomes Fohat; the swift son of the Divine sons whose sons are the Lipikas, runs circular errands.” [8]

Fohat is a sort of “Cosmic Electricity,” the “fiery whirlwind.” It acts upon the One Element (aether?) and differentiates it into various centers of energy (particles?). Fohat is the “Word made flesh.” Fohat, “in Whom we live and have our being,” is connected with the Hindu god Vishnu, from the root vis, “to pervade.” Fohat is called the “Pervader” and the Manufacturer, because he shapes the atoms from crude material. [9]

This might translate as, a vorticular structure in the aether is the basis of observable particles and energy. Fohat digs holes in space. This might be the “vortex”, “spin field” and/or “torsion field” of the “hyperdimensional model” of the universe which posits The Ether as the actual transformation medium between the higher spatial realities and our (3-D) dimension.
