The conceptions of the “Big Bang” theorists have an affinity with those of the Flat Earth Society. For the “Big Bangers” an eggshell perimeter surrounds the Universe. What lies beyond the perimeter? Captain Klump of the “Big Bang” team found out when Mr. Greenjeans beamed him out into the “place which is no place.” Unfortunately the good Captain never returned. On his map of the Universe, for the region beyond the eggshell frontier of the “expanding universe”, Mr. Greenjeans wrote, “Here bee monsters.” (Further background: Crisis in Cosmology (Part 8), Ersjdamoo’s Blog entry of December 29, 2013.)
The Flat Earth Society, like the “Big Bang” theorists, has its own version of the perimeter, beyond which it is perilous for mariners to voyage. For the Flat Earthers, an ice perimeter in “Antarctica” surrounds the plane of our Earth. We think we have circumnavigated the “globe” but really we have been traveling in circles. (See map image hopefully above.)
To those who offer objections to the conception of the Flat Earth Society, they offer a Flat Earth FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
One common objection to the flat earth concept is, “People have been into space. How have they not discovered that the earth is flat?” Yes, what about all the NASA photos showing the Earth as a globe? The Flat Earthers answer that the space agencies of the world are involved in a conspiracy faking space travel and exploration. This likely began during the Cold War’s “Space Race”, in which the U.S.S.R and USA were obsessed with beating each other into space to the point that each faked their accomplishments in an attempt to keep pace with the other’s supposed achievements. However, since the end of the Cold War, the conspiracy is most likely motivated by greed rather than political gains. This ongoing conspiracy opens up tremendous amounts of funds to embezzle as it only takes a fraction of the total budget to fake space travel.
Many “conspiracy theorists” have their own doubts about NASA, even if they do not agree with the Flat Earthers. For example, Authors Mary Bennett and David S. Percy offer what they term the “dark moon scenario” as the most likely explanation behind NASA’s alleged journey to the moon.
In their book, Dark Moon, Bennett and Percy admit that yes, NASA went to the moon, “but neither in the manner that NASA have claimed as set out in the historical record, nor with the individuals named in the historical record.”
NASA is a militaristic organization run on a “need-to-know” basis. “The vast majority of those involved at NASA and the space program as a whole (are/were) entirely ignorant of what was going on at the highest levels.”
The Apollo 11 “lunar landing” was conducted in parallel with a secret lunar landing which actually occurred, posit Bennett & Percy. The authors’ Dark Moon Scenario is extensively backed by evidence presented in their book; this Ersjdamoo’s Blog entry is only the briefest of summaries. The true picture which emerges in Dark Moon is that while Apollo 11 only orbited the Earth, the Soviet Luna 15 spacecraft proceeded to the moon. This Soviet “Soyuz” craft had hooked up with the orbiting Apollo, and the Lunar Module was piggy-backed to Luna 15. Inside the Soyuz vehicle, a Russian cosmonaut (probably Pavel Belyayev) was the “taxi driver” for a secret mission transporting a surrogate American astronaut. This unacknowledged American astronaut, “Astronaut X”, would be the human guinea pig who actually set foot on the moon.
Astronaut X wasn’t likely to return. Van Allen Belt and lunar radiation would be sure to limit his days. (Pavel Belyayev, the probable Russian “taxi driver,” did return from the secret mission, but died soon thereafter.) On the moon, Astronaut X took photos and transmitted them back to Earth. These were the “real photographs of the lunar surface that very few human beings would ever see.” Astronaut X also carried a handgun for limited protection against possible aggressors.
Did Astronaut X return from the moon? It is possible that he returned to the Lunar Module and prepared to depart. “Only those that know can say whether it was ever intended for him to return.”
Like Captain Klump, Astronaut X had gone “beyond the perimeter.” And so too may Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd have gone past the “Antarctic” perimeter during the “Operation Highjump” of 1946-1947. Byrd, an active Freemason, kept a secret diary in which he wrote in February 1947, “I’d like to see that land beyond the Pole. That area beyond the Pole is the center of the Great Unknown.” What could Byrd have meant by “beyond the Pole”? Although some say Byrd had journeyed into the “hollow Earth”, offered for your consideration is that he had traveled past the “Antarctic” perimeter of the Flat Earthers.
“Big Bang” Theory? Flat Earth? “Beyond the Poles”? Do not automatically dismiss such ideas, for they may well contain some grains of truth!
