An episode of The Simpsons, which aired on February 25, 2001, predicted the Syrian uprising and civil war. The episode is also proof of a massive international conspiracy that laid the groundwork for the Arab Spring, according to an anchorperson on Egyptian TV channel Al Tahrir.
In a video segment from the Egyptian TV channel (hopefully embedded above), the Simpsons episode clearly shows a version of the Syrian flag that looks like the ones Syrian rebels and protesters waved in 2011. How could a “rebel flag” which did not yet exist have been shown in a 2001 episode of The Simpsons?
In the episode, Bart Simpson and his friends sing a chorus – “Yvan eht Nioj” – which is “Join the Navy” spelled backwards.
Al Jean, a longtime Simpsons executive producer, apparently used a “limited hangout” to explain the puzzling episode: “Yes, we had the amazing foresight to predict conflict in the Middle East,” he reportedly stated.
Mother Jones online reports, “There are also wacky theories out there that The Simpsons predicted the 9/11 terrorist attacks.” I don’t know about that, but I do know that the premiere episode of The Lone Gunmen (a spin-off from the X-Files TV show) had a remote-controlled aircraft being targeted at New York’s World Trade Center and that that episode aired months before the surreal events of September 11, 2001 (“9/11”).
These things bring to mind how either Robert Fletcher or John Trochmann, leaders of the Militia Of Montana (MOM), had once found a clue on a “Kix” cereal box. “Fletcher compiled his sinister findings in MOM’s Blue Book, a binder of press clippings, fliers and articles. The Blue Book included a map reproduced from a KIX cereal box that purportedly denoted the occupational zones into which the United States was to be divided following the United Nations-sponsored takeover.”
The “occupational zones” are possibly the same as shown on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) “10 regions” map. It is not far-fetched to believe Kix cereal might have reproduced the FEMA map on cereal boxes circa 1993.
And what does it mean that one “Darth Nikolayevich Vader” is registered for Odessa’s mayoral election on May 25? This candidacy of Darth Vader for Mayor of Odessa was first reported on May 1st, then updated on May 2nd, by Russia Today. And it was on that same day, May 2, 2014, that the horrifying Odessa Massacre occurred.
“The registration is completed. The first step towards the victory is made. Power is itself coming into my hands and I’m not ready to resist,” said Vader.
Vader is not just running for Mayor of Odessa, but for mayor of all key cities in Ukraine. “Soon I will be in your city, too,” Vader ominously warned.
