Whatever Happened To Ebola?

Ebola Fearmongering: Myths, conspiracies and ‘cures’ go viral

It was only a month ago that the “big crisis” was the Ebola epidemic. Can you remember back to those far away times? Ebola had traveled to America! (Buy newspapers!) A few Americans had become infected! (News at 10!) Hazmat suits! Obama playing golf! (Vote for our guys instead!)

So where is the stirring Ebola news now? Funny how it has disappeared. What will be the next “big crisis”? It will be coming, like a train on schedule. Theories about this merry-go-round of crises include (1) that it is “fear porn” designed to sell newspapers and increase audience for radio/tv “news”; (2) that it is “strategy of tension” (Italian: strategia della tensione), a theory that Western governments during the Cold War used tactics that aimed to divide, manipulate, and control public opinion using fear, propaganda, disinformation, psychological warfare, agents provocateurs, and false flag terrorist action; (3) that it is part of a predictable “news” cycle, called by Ersjdamoo “the crescendo of crisis.” (Background: Another Defection By Mainstream Writer, Ersjdamoo’s Blog, October 7, 2014.)

It was Naomi Wolf, an author and former political consultant for Al Gore, who came up with the term “fear porn” to describe these rhythmic “crises” which ebb and flow like the tide. Maybe it was that name, Wolf, which reminded me of the old story about “The Boy Who Cried ‘Wolf'”. The boy (one of those Russians by the way) enjoyed the attention he got by crying wolf, until one day there really was a wolf but by then no one paid attention. Except for countless decades now, the “news” fakers have kept crying “Wolf!” yet somehow the public hasn’t caught on to the game and does still pay attention. This newspapers crying “Wolf!” is documented so far back as in Washington Irving’s time. In his book, History of New York from the Beginning of the World to the End of the Dutch Dynasty, Irving tells us of “the innumerable race of editors, who people and defend this country, and who are bountifully paid by the people for keeping up a constant alarm – and making them miserable.”

But whatever happened to Ebola? Now belonging to the realm of history, the mystery of the Great Ebola Crisis of October 2014 may have actually been solved! Too bad this is considered to be “old news” by now and therefore beneath the dignity of newspapers, which Irving elsewhere describes in his History of New York as “mere whipping posts and pillories, where unfortunate individuals are pelted with rotten eggs…” Anyway, there is a law professor at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (Champion-Banana), Illinois who may have figured out the Ebola mystery. For some reason, the local newspaper, nicknamed “The Squatting Toad” because it squats like a toad upon the town, has not covered the theory of Professor Francis Boyle here. Other newspapers, such as Britain’s The Telegraph newspaper, somehow managed to report how Professor Francis Boyle, a noted scholar of biowarfare and international law at the University of Illinois and who “literally wrote the rules of biowarfare” and “was a member of the government’s Committee of Military Use of Biotechnology and principal author of the Biological Weapons Anti Terrorism Act of 1989”, says “This isn’t normal Ebola at all. I believe it’s been genetically modified.” [1]

All the way over in Britain, a newspaper is able to report on the theory offered by Professor Francis Boyle, yet here, in Boyle’s very home town, “The Squatting Toad” newspaper cannot travel two miles from its mausoleum of a building to cover the story! (In fairness to “The Toad” it must be admitted the difficulty for an amphibian creature to hop two miles.)

The Telegraph newspaper predictably pooh-poohs Boyle as a “conspiracy theorist”. However a different source is neutral and lets its readers decide. World News Daily: Information Clearing House interviewed Boyle and let him have his say. This presumes the dangerous concept that people can think for themselves and do not need assistance in the form of little clues about “conspiracy theorists”. Said Professor Boyle, “It seems to me, that what we are dealing with here is a biological warfare work that was conducted at the bio-warfare laboratories set up by the USA on the west coast of Africa. And if you look at a map produced by the Center of Disease Control you can see where these laboratories are located. And they are across the heart of Ebola epidemic, at the west coast of Africa. So, I think these laboratories, one or more of them, are the origins of the Ebola epidemic.” [2]

It’s all Greek to me. Information Clearing House  has their report done by a Greek, Aggeliki Dimopoulou, and he may have had trouble with his English. He quotes Boyle as saying, “Liberia, a former colony of the USA, never became a party to the Biological Weapons Convention, so they were able to do bio–warfare work over there – going back to 1980’s – the USA government, in order to circumvent the Biological Weapons Convention. Likewise, Guinea the third state affected here – and there is an increase now – didn’t even sign the Biological Weapons Convention. So, it seems to me,” stated Boyle, “that the different agencies of the US government have been always there try to circumvent the Biological Weapons Convention and engage bio-warfare work.” [2]

  1. In truth, Ebola should have never gotten off the ground. Knowledge of a remedy for Ebola has a history dating back to 10 April 2001. The link provided will reference Government Approval and Congressional Testimony (click on each) in the left hand sidebar of this link tinyurl.com/m5273xj.

As a fellow WordPress blogger, I will gladly respond to any questions you may have that links DTA/DOD/AFRL/WHO/CDC/&FDA gagged suppliers of the remedy/ to having knowledge of there being a viable remedy to the Ebola of this present crisis.
