Russia Today reports that “Two police officers have been shot during a protest outside Ferguson Police Station…” This is corroborated by Fox News, which reports, “Two police officers were shot and seriously wounded early Thursday outside the police department in Ferguson, Mo…”
Let us say a prayer that these two officers, one shot in the face and the other in the shoulder, make a full recovery from their wounds.
“…the cold weather which has kept somewhat of a lid on things in the streets begins to lift,” reported Ersjdamoo’s Blog on March 5, 2015. And Lo! Noticeably warmer weather yesterday brought out pounding roofers here where I live and brought out hidden shooters in the adjoining state of Missouri, in Ferguson.
While the pounding roofers across the street set up a cacophonic drum of noise pollution attacking the peace here, that drumming ascended to the sky and bounced back like radar waves to Ferguson, Missouri. Can the roofers be blamed somehow for the cowardly shootings in Ferguson?
No man is an island entire of itself; every man
is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe
is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as
well as any manner of thy friends or of thine
own were; any man’s death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
Or maybe Russian President Vladimir Putin can be blamed for the shootings of the two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri. After all, Putin gets blamed for everything else, so why not this too? A Twitter hashtag, #BlamePutin, is dedicated to the general theme of scapegoating Putin. “I got punched in the face today (not joking),” tweeted one Riley Waggaman on March 9th at the #BlamePutin site. He apparently blames Vladimir Putin for the punching. The “[l]atest act of the #BlamePutin is about missing #MH370”, tweeted “ocomar” on March 8th, referring to the mystery of the disappeared Flight MH370.
Ersjdamoo has repeatedly written about the “crescendo of crisis.” On July 24, 2014, for instance, it was explained how “From Monday onwards, the weekly ‘big fuss’ builds to a crescendo, culminating around Thursday or Friday. The stimuli are overwhelming. But on Saturday there is the unusual compartment where the word ‘crisis’ does not even exist!” Each day is divided into a compartment, and each week is unaware of other weeks. It is the King Crimson “21st Century Schizoid Man.” This week (March 9 thru March 13), the crescendo began with the Oklahoma University racist video on Monday. But people are growing numb to such things and not much interest was generated. So gears were switched to the Hillary Clinton e-mails. But that was more like a Euclid geometry theorem, something to puzzle over. So still things were calm in the “crisis news” industry. Now, however, with the wicked shootings of the two police officers in Ferguson, at last the “crisis news” can rejoice: Here, here is a big story! Who knows, maybe it was the “crisis news” industry itself which secretly did the shootings! Expect much “news” attention on the subject and an anxious atmosphere of crisis. On Saturday, March 14th, expect withdrawal of the crisis stimulus, sensory deprivation, and compensation by shopping behavior.
