In the video clip hopefully above, Chris Matthews sides with the Michael Moore version of what happened on “9/11” (September 11, 2001). On that day Americans were stunned by news that hijacked airplanes had been used to attack New York City’s World Trade Center “twin towers” and the Pentagon building. In his documentary film released in 2004, Fahrenheit 9/11, Moore raised questions about Saudi-Arabian involvement in the deadly attacks. The film is recommended, however Moore sidesteps the issue of how exactly NYC’s twin towers were totally brought down.
That is the crux of the issue with news released yesterday by, among others, The Times of London. “Secret 9/11 dossier implicates Saudi Arabia in attack”, reported Rhys Blakely of the Times. A “secret chapter” of an official report is said to link Saudi Arabia to the September 11 terrorist attacks. Bob Graham, who was chairman of the US Senate Intelligence Committee at the time of “9/11” says that an inquiry he led uncovered evidence that the Saudis were the “principal financier”. The Times is a subscription web site so only part of their report was available there to me. However the full report was carried by The Australian. (Update: Now suddenly the report carried by The Australian has become subscriber only!)
On yesterday’s Russia Today news broadcast, which I get via a Roku box hooked to my TV, mention was briefly made of Bob Graham and the classified 9/11 dossier. I cannot find this news at the RT English-language web site. However an RT Spanish-language version is available and luckily that is a language I can read. “¿Qué podría esconder el informe secreto del Congreso de EE.UU. sobre el 11-S?”, reports RT. The “11-S” is the Spanish nomenclature for “9/11”. “EE.UU” means Estados Unidos, signifying the United States. My translation of the headline is, “Will the secret report of the U.S. Congress about 9/11 remain hidden?”. Rand Paul, Republican senator from Kentucky, is demanding that the Obama administration declassify 28 pages from a December 2002 congressional investigation.
The Spanish language RT report includes a link to a report carried by the UK’s Telegraph newspaper: “Obama under pressure to release secret pages of 9/11 report ‘showing Saudi Arabia financed attacks'”. The Obama administration is facing renewed pressure to release a top secret report that allegedly shows that Saudi Arabia directly helped to finance the September 11 attacks, report Harriet Alexander and Peter Foster of the Telegraph.
Whew! You can see how tracking down information on what had been briefly mentioned via a Roku box turned into a convoluted quest! So there we have it: 28 pages of a classified congressional report from December 2002 are floating about in Limbo at the moment. Members of the U.S. Congress apparently concluded that Saudi-Arabia financed the “9/11” attacks.
Compare the obscurity of this “9/11” news with what the pied piper “news” was blasting at us this past week. I call it the pied piper “news” to evoke the Pied Piper of Hamelin. He is the subject of a legend concerning the disappearance or death of a great number of children from the town of Hamelin (Hameln), Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Middle Ages. The pied piper, as the legend evolved, lured away the town’s children in revenge for not being paid his rat pest-control fee. The children merrily followed the piper out of town while he played a musical instrument. Sabine Baring-Gould, in his book, Curious Myths of the Middle Ages, has the root of the legend occurring on June 26, 1284, the feast of Saints John and Paul. They were said to have been martyred at Rome on June 26 during the reign of Julian the Apostate. The year for the reported martyrdom is uncertain but roughly dated as circa 361 – 363 AD. Baring-Gould adds in a footnote about pied piper that “Grimm has collected a list of authorities who speak of the event as an historical fact.” Grimm would apparently be of the Brothers Grimm, authors of so-called “fairy tales.” The specific Grimm book mentioned by Baring-Gould is, Deutsche Sagen, published in 1866.
So the pied piper distracts the children and leads them away. Children are akin to “sheeple”, a colloquialism signifying “sheep people”, i.e., a herd of Americans easily shepherded by the Mighty Wurlitzer. The pied piper “news” this past week played an enchanting Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner tune and the sheeple were led away down the primrose path. (For background on the Mighty Wurlitzer, see Damnit, I’m Not Laughing, Ersjdamoo’s Blog, June 5, 2015.)
Ultimately, the Jenner sex change is not especially important in the grand scheme of things. However symbolically it has weight as a Moose Lodge hunting story, where “feminist” hunters display their trophy of a castrated male. They have “bagged” (symbolically) not just any male, but an alpha male, hero of the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. It is part of the “feminist” War Against Men, covered over by a histrionic “war against women.” But we all know that the true “war” is against the men, and has been now for decades.
