Big Fuss on Capitol Hill

Popcorn News: Yellow-Coated Men

“These yellow-coated men… We’ve had enough! Let’s throw some chairs, matey!” cried some angry Brits. But then, when some yellow-coated men happened upon the scene, the angry Brits acted nonchalant, as if nothing had happened.

This can be seen in my latest “Popcorn News” video, hopefully viewable at the top of today’s blog entry. Other subjects in the satirical clip include Angela Merkel thinks refugees are just in Germany for the Octoberfest and they will be leaving afterwards; Ukrainians tricked by fake Octoberfest; and robot goes wild after dog barks at it.

The fury in Britain about the yellow-coated men saw somewhat of an echo on Capitol Hill yesterday. There, polarized congresspersons jousted amongst themselves while Holy Grail Hillary Clinton watched the knightly contentions. It was the latest “Pop!” of a popcorn kernel. All eyes were focused upon the joust. “Looky there!” cried the people. “A kernel has popped!”

But then, another kernel will pop elsewhere and the eyes of the people will turn in that direction. Such is our “news” these days.

A complete transcript of the kernel which popped yesterday on Capitol Hill has been made available by Washington Post. [1] If you wanted to carefully analyze what was said, what would happen is another kernel would pop elsewhere and you would be distracted. You might think you could just ignore the distraction, but people around you would be flipping out and tugging your sleeve: “Have you heard the news!?” they would scream. “A popcorn kernel has just popped!”

Waiting for the next shoe to drop or kernel to pop, this blogger has found the best coverage of the Capitol Hill joust of yesterday at the Russia Today web site. Standing outside the political fray, Russia is able to be more neutral in its assessment. They say that Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi testimony was punctuated by emails, anger, and arguments. While there were “shouting matches between lawmakers”, Holy Grail Hillary “looked on bored or amused.” [2]

I am happy to report that Hillary Clinton did not keep “taking the fifth” as I had erroneously foreseen in yesterday’s blog entry. There I had supposed she would often respond to questions by saying, “I don’t recall” and “I don’t remember.” This however was not the general tack of her sail. (Background: Hillary Clinton “Does Not Recall”, Ersjdamoo’s Blog, October 22, 2015.)

Overall, the congressional investigators are missing the forest for the trees. They keep looking into the one tree of Benghazi, where some crazed persons attacked the American diplomatic compound and killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith on September 11, 2012. [3] Meanwhile the forest of “Arab Spring”, which occurred while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, is not especially perceived. Yet Arab Spring destabilized Libya and Syria and largely caused the refugee crisis in Europe as well as risk of World War III starting in Syria. If you think Arab Spring was a random chance spontaneous event, then I congratulate you on your innocence.

Back in November of 2012, Ersjdamoo theorized that “the Benghazi attack was a false flag operation and is not as it seems.” [4] It was an “October Surprise” type of political operation, theorized Ersjdamoo in a different blog entry in November 2012. The Benghazi attack “was reminiscent of Jimmy Carter and the attack on the U.S. embassy in Iran, back in 1980.” The theorized plot was designed to make Barack Obama appear to be weak and hurt his chances for re-election. [5]

That (preceding paragraph) is just theory, as is the theory that Arab Spring was fomented at least in part by the State Department and the CIA. However in the latter theory there is much support for there having been CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) involvement. If you do a Google search on “arab spring cia involvement”, a plethora of links will be returned. For instance, a book review of American Arabesque: the Role of the US in the Revolts in the Arab Streets, has it that Arab Spring uprisings “were almost certainly destabilization/regime change operations, funded and orchestrated by the CIA, State Department, historic CIA-funded foundations — and last, but not least, Google.” [6]

Google is to be thanked profusely for its efforts to digitize forgotten, out-of-print books. Nonetheless, Lori Harfenist, in a video later pulled from YouTube, reported that a company called The Groundwork, funded in part by Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Google’s new parent company, Alphabet, is one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest technology vendors for her campaign.
