Mr. Moto, international man of mystery, is on the prowl. Seen on a so-called “Danger Island” (thought to be the Guantanamo detention facility), Moto is connected to human experimentation at “Danger Island” which seeks to induce “learned helplessness.” From animal experiments to human experiments, how long will it be before the learned helplessness technique is employed upon Americans?
Such is the description given for my latest video, Mr. Moto and the Learned Helplessness, published to YouTube on October 30, 2015. The video, lasting 8 minutes and 24 seconds, is hopefully viewable at the top of today’s blog entry.
In the previous Ersjdamoo’s Blog entry, mention was made of a segment which aired on Anissa Naouai’s “In The Now” program, broadcast on the Russia Today network. “I hope to include the segment in an upcoming ‘Popcorn News’ video,” wrote Ersjdamoo. The segment, dealing with learned helplessness and alleged human experiments at Guantanamo, is included in the video featured in today’s blog entry.
From research, to human experiments, to further tests done on unwitting Americans without their consent: Such has happened before. Starting in 1953, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) conducted research on psychedelic drugs as part of a top-secret behavior modification program. Eventually, LSD was secretly administered to hundreds of mental patients, prisoners, foreign nationals and private American citizens without their consent. Years later, new research has been conducted on dogs and other animals, seeking to induce learned helplessness. Whatever you think about the ACLU, one of their attorneys now charges that learned helplessness research, using human subjects at Guantanamo, has occurred. The research, according to Naouai’s report, was funded by the CIA. Thus, if the pattern continues, learned helplessness techniques will be studied further by means of tests done on unwitting Americans.
And perhaps the learned helplessness technique has already been applied to Americans, without their consent. This I posit at the close of my latest video. Behavior control techniques were involved in the Arab Spring uprisings of 2011. Gene Sharp, social scientist, has been accused of having strong links with a variety of US institutions including the CIA, the Pentagon, the RAND Corporation, and the National Endowment for Democracy. According to author Thierry Meyssan, Sharp helped NATO and then CIA train the leaders of “soft coups”. These were seemingly spontaneous uprisings such as “Rose Revolution”, “Tulip Revolution” and Arab Spring. Sociology and psychology became intertwined: for psychology the test subjects were individuals; for sociology the test subjects were groups of people. And then came what seemed to be random popular uprisings but were not entirely so.
My friend, the late Sherman H. Skolnick, consistently charged that some leaders of the anti-Vietnam War movement had been funded by the American CIA. This seemed astonishing to me and I questioned Sherman about it. “Okay,” I said, “maybe Rennie Davis. But surely not Abbie Hoffman.” To this, Skolnick allowed that Hoffman may have been trying to play both sides of the fence. (Hoffman was later murdered, disguised as a suicide.) Skolnick charged that he and his group, The Citizens’ Committee to Clean Up the Courts, had been blocked and threatened for “our efforts to confront CIA ‘peace movement’ fakers, ‘The Chicago 7’, Rennie Davis, Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman, Tom Hayden, and others.”
The Chicago 7 helped disrupt the 1968 Democratic Party convention, in Chicago. That, in turn, helped Republican Party candidate Richard Nixon get elected president. The Chicago Police were greatly provoked into over-reacting, thereby tarnishing the reputation of Chicago’s Democrat Party big boss, Mayor Richard J. Daley, and by inference the entire Democrat Party.
In the “Arab Spring” of Ferguson, Missouri (which began the day after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by Darren Wilson, a white police officer, on August 9, 2014), “30 different groups” were allegedly “being sponsored and paid for by George Soros…” They were “conducting what are supposed to look like spontaneous protests, but [were really] being bought and paid for.” George Soros has also been connected with Gene Sharp, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the International Republican Institute.
The psychological/sociological techniques, including learned helplessness, might be tried upon the U.S. population, I suggest in my latest video. Maybe already the experiments are underway! Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State during the time of Arab Spring, has recently teamed with Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Google’s new parent company, Alphabet. Funded in part by Eric Schmidt, a company called The Groundwork is one of Clinton’s biggest technology vendors for her campaign. A secretive “Tor” technology was used during Arab Spring to facilitate protests. It helps hide the users’ identity from inquisitive authorities. The Tor technology was funded by the U.S. government. (Ironically, Tor has since been utilized by traffickers in narcotics, much to the chagrin of the same U.S. government which had funded the project.) Tor is a key part of what is called “The Dark Net”, part of Internet not seen by browsers such as Firefox and others. All these new technologies can be used to manipulate the thinking of Americans.
One last note: I have branched out into making videos of my own. This is taking up a chunk of my time, at least until I become more fluent in video editing techniques. So my blog posts may be less frequent for the time being at least. Free video editors are available for Windows 7 (Movie Maker) and Ubuntu Linux (OpenShot Video Editor). Refreshing idealistic attitudes are seen in YouTube videos made by younger persons who now dominate the genre. But where is the balancing voice of maturity? It is hoped that the “old dogs” (of which I am one), who supposedly cannot learn new tricks, will get off the fence, disregard “what will the neighbors say”, learn simple video editing techniques, and add their much needed voice to the national conversation.
