The Battle of New Orleans

One morning last week, I awoke with a song running through my head: The Battle of New Orleans, by Johnny Horton. The song was originally released in 1959 and won a Grammy. Above hopefully can be viewed my rendition of the lyrics, with the original chorus dubbed in.

As for any conspiracy in all this, Andrew Jackson, a fierce enemy of central banks, scored a decisive victory against the British at the Battle of New Orleans, fought between January 8 and January 18, 1815. And now, certain “feminists” want to remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and replace him with a female heroine.
