Prince Charles and the Carbon Credits

The fancy Prince Charles of Britain owns the Duchy of Cornwall. That is one of two royal duchies in England, the other being the Duchy of Lancaster, owned by Queen Elizabeth II. In June 2007, the Duchy of Cornwall invested money in Sustainable Forestry Management, Ltd., a Bermuda-based carbon credits trading company. [1] [2]

The fancy Prince Charles had been nabbed at a digital “Apalachin Meeting”, almost exactly 60 years to the day after the infamous Apalachin Meeting of November 14, 1957. The question was, when did the prince begin secretly investing in Sustainable Forestry Management, Ltd.? And now we know: It was in June 2007. [3]

In July 2009, two years after investing in the Bermuda-based carbon credits trading company, Sustainable Forestry Management, Ltd., Prince Charles issued a dire warning to the world: Humanity has only 96 months to save the world from irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse, and all that goes with it!

96 months after the dire warning from the prince, in July 2017 came the close of the 96-month window of opportunity. [3]

“Is Global Warming a Sin?” asked Alexander Cockburn in the May 14, 2007 issue of The Nation magazine. The Roman Catholic Church once sold indulgences like checks. The sinners thereby established a line of credit against bad behavior and could go on sinning. Later, circa 2007, a world market in “carbon credits” was in formation. “The modern trade is as fantastical as the medieval one.” Carbon trafficking was just like the old indulgences. [4]

  • 2009: Prince Charles gives dire 96-month warning.
  • 2010: Harper’s magazine carries a report on how “Carbon trading is now the fastest-growing commodities market on earth.” [5]

When you think of commodities, think of Glencore (though I cannot find that Glencore deals in carbon credits). Glencore is one of the entities revealed as present at the digital “Apalachin Meeting” via the Paradise Papers. Glencore was founded by Marc Rich, who was indicted in the United States on federal charges of tax evasion yet luckily received a presidential pardon from U.S. President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, Clinton’s last day in office. The real name of Marc Rich, according to the late Sherman H. Skolnick, is Marc Reich, and he is (or was) “the American CIA’s laundry man.” Allegedly, Marc Rich “was a key player in the huge, mostly unpublicized Russian ruble affair, an attack by the American CIA and worldwide banks fronting for them, against the Soviet currency which led to the downfall of the Moscow government.” [6]
