Seven Seals Of Mescalito

John of Patmos was “in the Spirit” when he witnessed a kaleidoscope of images and sounds. Carlos Castaneda also may have been “in the Spirit” when he encountered Mescalito.

In the early 1960s, Carlos Castaneda met an old Yaqui Indian sorcerer, don Juan Matus. Castaneda chewed peyote buttons and seemed to have an “out-of-body experience.” This may have been due to the toxicity of the peyote, which caused a weakening of physical function and subsequent temporary dislocation of spirit from the body. John of Patmos, after intense fasting and praying, may have experienced something similar.

Carlos Castaneda encountered what don Juan called Mescalito. For Castaneda, Mescalito first took the form of a medium-sized black dog. (Mescalito can take many forms, and can be friendly or decidedly unfriendly, depending on whether he accepts you.) In Castaneda’s first encounter, the dog played with him.

The dog approached and drank from a pan of water. (But don Juan kept later insisting, “It was not a dog!”) Suddenly, Castaneda saw the dog become transparent. “The water was a shiny, viscous liquid. I saw it going down the dog’s throat into his body. I saw it flowing evenly through his entire length and then shooting out through each one of the hairs. I saw the iridescent fluid traveling along the length of each individual hair and then projecting out of the hairs to form a long, white, silky mane.”

Compare the above with some passages in the Book of Revelation, for example, “And round the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.” (Revelation 4: 6)

In a later “Close Encounter of the Weird Kind,” Mescalito took the form of a man. His eyes were of water. (Not like water but literally of water.) “His head was pointed like a strawberry; his skin was green, dotted with innumerable warts.” The “man” (Mescalito) began talking to Carlos Castaneda. At first his voice was like the soft rustle of a light breeze. Then it seemed to be music, “as a melody of voices.”

John of Patmos turned to see who was speaking to him. His head and his hair were white as white wool. His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze. His voice was like the sound of many waters. (Revelation 1: 12-15)

  1. Not Online says:

I’ve always had a hunch that Don Juan’s team and the Christ’s team (his apostles) were operating at different level than most of humanity. I also believe that both groups had access to the ‘the desert of the real’ (meaning access to the non-Matrix reality) or to use Don Juan’s ter;: cpncious access to the nagual.
